When national team competitions come into the FPL there will be an opportunity for players to declare their nationality. The rules for how you qualify for nations are as follows:
- Place of birth
- Parents place of birth
- Grandparents place of birth
Once you have made your selection you are tied to that nation, whether you ever make an appearance or not, there will be no dual nationality.
If you are found to have lied about your nationality you will be permanently banned from international games, management jobs and will serve a domestic suspension.
Also please bare in mind, just because you are able to play for another nation than the one you where born in as FPL expands and looks to offer alternative national leagues language barriers in the national team may become a problem. This is your own risk though you still will not be able to switch nationality.
